Hello, my name is Kiara, and I am the CPA at your doorstep!
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. When I was young, I felt passionate about numbers and was interested in a career that could keep me involved around them. That is the reason I decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Operation Management from the University of Puerto Rico.
I started my career in 2012 working at an important bank in Puerto Rico. During my time in the Banking Industry, I worked directly in the financial and retirement planning division managing 401K Plans. Being introduced to retirement planning in an early stage of my professional development, I realized the importance of understanding why retirement planning is important nowadays.
I then decided to move to the United States to expand my knowledge and pursue new goals that helped me be the professional that I am now.
In Florida, I was introduced to the industry of public accounting. I worked, at a very well-known accounting firm in Central Florida. During my time there, I developed a particular interest in taxes and wanted to combine it with my knowledge in retirement planning. That is the reason why, I started studying for my CPA license which I successfully completed at the beginning of 2019.
After completing this goal, I thought, now what? I have always wanted to do something different, something that could be unique, that could be innovative in this environment. That is when I decided to create Exclusive Accounting.
Exclusive Accounting is a full-service accounting firm that not only offers the main services of a traditional firm, but also offers a unique experience between me, the CPA, and my client. I provide my clients access and flexibility to meet them at their convenience.
As a firm, I am committed to look beyond the numbers, and focus on the opportunity and challenges that each client has. Creativity, innovation, and teamwork are the most important aspects of my approach to business.
